Ceramic Surface Design

Instructor:

Interested in adding more dimension to the surfaces of your ceramic work?

This class will explore a variety of techniques to decorate the surface of ceramic pieces.  Each class will include an introduction to a technique and time to practice. We will learn Sgraffito, Mishima, mono-printing, and resist techniques to decorate ceramic surfaces.

Craft Enrichment pottery classes draw on the individual technical and aesthetic interests of each instructor. Through group instruction, hands-on experiences and individual help, both beginning and advanced ceramics students will expand their knowledge of pottery design. A variety of clays and glazes are available for Cone 6 oxidation firing.
