Registration information
Most classes meet over multiple weeks. Registration begins at noon on the dates below and remains open until the class fills or until 2 weekdays before the class begins, whichever comes first.
- Summer 2026 – May 13
- Fall 2026 – August 12
- Spring 2027 – December 9
If you miss the registration for this session, we hope you will consider taking the class the next time it is offered. Be sure to mark your calendar with our registration dates listed above.

If you need accommodations due to a disability, contact the Office of Disability Services at 828-262-3056 at least two weeks prior to the beginning of your Craft Enrichment class.
Cancellation policy
You may cancel a craft class up to two weeks before the class begins, with a $30 cancellation fee assessed. No refunds are allowed within two weeks of the start date, nor after the class begins.
Student materials
Most Craft Enrichment classes include materials to complete the various projects (check the specific class description to verify). Below students can purchase additional materials for the pottery classes (CLAY). Participants will show the receipt to their instructor in order to obtain their additional materials.
- Clay – $20 per 25lb bag
- Cone 10 Firing – $45 per firing
