Brett McDonough

Brett began working in clay in 2001 as a student at Watauga High School. After graduating he pursued Ceramics as an Art and Ed Studies major at Guilford College in Greensboro where he was introduced to members of The Art Alliance of Greensboro through a woodfiring workshop. In 2008 Brett began teaching part time as an instructor at the Art Alliance working with both children and adults all while pursuing his own artistic endeavors through Wild Rumpus Ceramic Arts. After teaching and working as Assistant Director and Studio manager at the Art Alliance he took over teaching Ceramics at Watauga High in 2016 after Whit Whitaker, the same teacher who got Brett into clay back in 2001, retired.
