Beck Long is an internationally published and collected photographer and is returning to teach for the Craft Enrichment Program. She is from Todd, NC and enjoys spending time in the outdoors with her favorite companion Ollis Ruth (the Dog), riding bicycles, camping-traveling to new hikes and heights to take photographs with film and digital processes. BeckLong adores the outdoors, reading books, yoga, martial arts, and the Craft Enrichment classes. She has taken almost all of them and her home is decorated with the products of these learning experiences. Bec is currently a practicing licensed mental health counselor, addictions specialist, expressive artist and a national board-certified counselor serving Watauga, Avery, and Ashe counties. She recently obtained her NC EMT licensure and Yoga Teacher Certificate. In her free time Beck Long can be found volunteering regularly with NC organizations including the Duke Lemur Center, The Red Cross, and locally with various organizations throughout the year. I look forward to teaching photography in community with you.
