Doug Galloway

A beekeeper for 10 years, Doug has been recognized by the North Carolina State Beekeepers Association as a Master Craftsman Beekeeper, the highest level in the NCSBA Master Beekeeper Program. The Eastern Apiculture Society, an organization representing 22 states and 2 Canadian provinces, has recognized Doug as a Master Beekeeper. A permanent member of both the NCSBA and EAS, he volunteers his time supporting these organizations Master Beekeeper Programs. Doug has taught beekeeping for several years at ASU, CCC&TI, local club's and Beekeeping Supply stores. Doug maintains 20 colonies of bees, produces and markets both honey and beeswax products.

Registration Information

PLEASE NOTE: Most classes meet over multiple weeks. Registration for each class is open until the class fills or until 2 days before the class begins, whichever comes first. If you miss the registration for this session we hope you will consider taking this class the next time it is offered. Please contact Kyndall Bennett at bennettjk@appstate.edu to be added to the mailing list if you would like to be notified when new classes are offered.

Cancellation Policy: You may cancel a craft class up to two weeks before the class begins, with a $30 cancellation fee assessed. No refunds are allowed within two weeks of the start date, nor after the class begins.
