Dottie Baker

Dottie Baker has been making pots since 1968. She first made her living as a production potter and, after earning her Master of Fine Arts in Ceramics at Ohio State University, moved into teaching. She taught ceramics for 24 years in colleges and universities across the eastern USA, and has shown her work in galleries and juried exhibitions nationwide. Now retired, Dottie owns and operates High Meadows Pottery in Ashe County, NC.

Registration Information

PLEASE NOTE: Most classes meet over multiple weeks. Registration for each class is open until the class fills or until 1 week before the class begins, whichever comes first. If you miss the registration for this session we hope you will consider taking this class the next time it is offered. Please contact Carrie Henderson at hendersoncf@appstate.edu to be added to the mailing list if you would like to be notified when new classes are offered.

Cancellation Policy: You may cancel a craft class up to two weeks before the class begins, with a $30 cancellation fee assessed. No refunds are allowed within two weeks of the start date, nor after the class begins.
