Video Production -- Summer, 2016This weekend workshop will provide an overview of basic video and audio production skills. If you have a burning story to tell, interest in working on family history, or need to create a promotional video or documentary, this workshop will help you achieve your goal.  Skills covered in the workshop include storytelling, video camera operation and composition, lighting, audio, interviewing, and editing.  The workshop is designed to be very hands-on.  This is a workshop for beginners.  You do not need your own equipment and no previous experience is required, although basic computer knowledge is needed to learn video editing.

Dates and times: Saturday, Apr. 1, and Sunday, Apr. 2  Saturday meets 9:30 am -- 4 pm (with an hour for lunch), Sunday 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm 

Cost: $135

Location: Room 226 Chapell Wilson Hall

Registration will begin on the following dates and will remain open until the class fills or three working days before the class starts, whichever comes first:

  • FALL SESSION: August 10 at noon
  • SPRING SESSION: December 1 at noon
  • SUMMER SESSION: May 1 at noon

PLEASE NOTE: You may cancel a craft class up to two weeks before the class begins, with a $30 cancellation fee assessed. No refunds are allowed within two weeks of the start date, nor after the class begins.

 Suzanne Clouzeau has more than 28 years of professional experience in the commercial film and video industry. She is an award-winning camera operator and producer of hospital commercials in Georgia and Alabama.  Here in the High Country, Suzanne has worked on several video projects for ASU professors and students.

PLEASE NOTE: Most classes meet over multiple weeks. Registration for each class is open until the class fills or until three working days before the class begins, whichever comes first.
