Drawing Classes
These courses introduce drawing with various media and in different styles, teaching students about light and shading, texture, perspective, personal expression, drawing from “life,” and how to create beautiful renderings from favorite photos. Students will learn to create the illusion of three-dimensional objects on a flat piece of paper. Skills apply to all types of drawing (with graphite, charcoal, pencil, ink, colored pencil and mixed media) and to still life, portraits, landscapes, florals, animals (including pet portraits) and abstract expression.
